MONADE IN THE MORNING<\/span><\/h4>\nA monad full of dew and new ink, I had returned to my studio the day before and wanted to try a different, non-figurative graphic work. I cut out tools in thick paper, to spread the ink without a brush, without hands, a form between the delicate fan and the efficient trowel.
\nThe tool-paper becomes impregnated with ink and unravels as I gesture, traces begin to populate the monad.<\/p>\n
I added drops of distilled water to the exposure, which marked a very soft blue gradation, the entrance of the monad, on the top left.
\nThe monad is dense, with intense blues and little emptiness inside.<\/p>\n
This cyanography is the first monad, which appeared on a beautiful morning in April 2020.<\/p>\n

This notion of Greek philosophy, taken up in biology, was then adopted by modern philosophers to explain the universe. LEIBNIZ<\/a> is the one who brought it back to light in 1714 with MONADOLOGY.<\/p>\nI retain an understanding of the world through monads, autonomous entities that combine in harmony. My workshop is a philo-bio-cyano laboratory where I found monads, a whole collection, the #MONADAZ<\/a><\/span>. Each one is a microcosm that contains a diversity of blues, textures and features.<\/p>\nThe monad, a unity, an exploration of abstract art.<\/p>\n
