This visual was composed for the association Life for Paris<\/a> on the occasion of the commemoration of the 3-year anniversary of the attacks of November 13, 2015.<\/p>\n

Ces 3 doigts lev\u00e9s, pour les 3 ans pass\u00e9s, forment un signe bien connu des amateurs du groupe Eagles Of Death Metal car il figure sur la pochette de leur album de 2004… et non, ce n’est pas Rock’n’Roll mais bien Amour, en langues des signes internationale.<\/p>\n

Cette \u0153uvre m’importe beaucoup, j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 impact\u00e9e par un des attentats du 13 novembre, et \u00e7a donne du sens \u00e0 mon activit\u00e9 artistique de mettre une touche de bleu, de po\u00e9sie, d’amour sur l’apr\u00e8s.
\nCette commande m’a permis aussi de souffler fort sur les \u00e9tincelles de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, un peu \u00e9teintes depuis les attentats,…\u00a0 je voulais honorer ce rendez-vous symbolique et remercie Life for Paris<\/a> de sa confiance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

In French, this name has taken on a specific meaning, derived from its original meaning: a region of Egypt, around Thebes, now called Luxor. This city was an oasis in the middle of a desert area… in which persecuted Christian communities had taken refuge.
\nThebaid is therefore a quiet and remote place to live isolated, in peace.<\/p>\n

The Thebaids, a collection of cyanographies that belong to no other.
\nEither they were exhibited in “panorama” mode, as at the Invalides in 2018, where the idea was to show the range of possibilities, or they are unpublished, in a hermitage at the Thebaides, while a collection is being built up.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
