Conversation with stone<\/h3><\/h3><\/div>
<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

I knock at the stone door
\n“It’s me, let me in.
\nI come to see you, to visit you
\nfeel your breath”<\/p>\n

“Go away, says the stone
\nI am locked.
\nEven broken into pieces
\nwe will always remain closed,
\neven reduced to sand
\nwe won’t let anyone in.”<\/p>\n<\/div>

I knock at the door of the stone.
\n“It’s me, let me in.
\nI come out of simple curiosity
\nand life is the only opportunity.
\nI would just like to walk through your palace
\nbefore going to visit the leaf and the drop.
\nI don’t have much time
\nbecause I only have one life.<\/p>\n

– I am made of stone, says the stone.
\nI have to be serious. Go away,
\nYou can see that I don’t have the muscles to laugh.<\/p>\n<\/div>

I knock at the stone door
\n– It’s me, let me in.
\nThey say there are big empty rooms in your house.
\nmajestic and without footsteps
\nthat no one has ever seen.
\nAdmit that you don’t know them yourself.<\/p>\n

-Large empty rooms it’s true
\nbut there is no room, says the stone.
\nBeautiful, perhaps
\nbut not of perceptible beauty to your senses.
\nYou can know me, but you can never know me.
\nYou see me in appearance but not in my essence<\/p>\n<\/div>

I knock at the stone door
\n– It’s me, let me in.
\nI promise I won’t stay at your place for long.
\nnor take refuge
\nI am not unhappy and I have a home.
\nBesides, the world is worth going back to.
\nI’ll go into your house and come out empty-handed.
\nwithout touching anything.
\nAs proof of my visit
\nI will write only a few words
\nand besides, nobody will believe me.<\/p>\n

– You will not go in, said the stone.
\nYou have no sense of sharing
\nand no other sense can replace it
\nnot even the clairvoyance of the beyond.
\nYou will not enter,
\nyou don’t know about sharing
\nyou only have a distant image of it.<\/p>\n<\/div>

I knock at the stone door
\n– It’s me, let me in.
\nI can’t wait two thousand centuries
\nto come to your house.<\/p>\n<\/div>

– If you don’t believe me, says the stone
\nask the leaf, it will tell you the same thing,
\nand the drop of water will tell you like the leaf.
\nYou can even ask a hair of your head, if you want.
\nYou make me laugh. With an immense burst of laughter
\nas if I had learned to laugh.<\/p>\n
